Medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of violets, cherries, and cloves; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of cherry, blackberry, baking spices , and hibiscus with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 8 months ago
For the price, outstanding and delicious. Fruity and spicy. — a year ago
Earth and raspberry nose, with a hint of meat. Nicely balanced and medium bodied, and delightful. Smooth finish, and fine tannins. You know it's going to be a good evening when a Crozes comes up from the cellar, and this fits the bill! — 4 years ago

took a flyer on this based on @Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego review and I agree - charming little wine, great QPR, balanced, plenty of stuffing & some polish. Legit southern FR blend, generous smooth well-knit — a year ago

Interesting red with bright fruit and barn yard funk. Paired well with my pork loin and oriechette with mushroom Bolognese. — 3 years ago
