Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2020 pours a bright straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with beautiful, lifted notes of ripe tropical fruit; pineapple, star fruit, passion fruit, lemon, freshly struck match, white flowers, gentle warm spices and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. This is an excellent village wine and love the style. Blend of 68% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, a new wine in the collection, deep Ruby Color, purple hues, with aromas of black and red fruits, spice and floral notes, aged for 12 months in 20% new French oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry, slightly jammy, with notes of cinnamon and floral spice. Clean fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and herb spice.
