Have not had in 4.5 years Stunning nose of mid season cherry, sour cherry, some dead leaves, tree bark, old wooden barrel and wild mint. A nose one can sink your teeth into. Palate has awesome freshness and acidity. So clean and pure. Nimble and wispy. So much energy and very velvety tannins. Needs to open up but great stuff. As it opens it gets so much sweeter and is so elegant. 9.3 to 9.4. Oh wow did this get good. Silky and sweet. Deeper. Lusher. Juicier. — 2 days ago

Bra, ren och elegant Pinot. Tydligt tysk stil, jordgubbar och smultron, viss kryddighet och bra syra. Saknar lite komplexitet för att lyfta, men ett gott vin är det. Tveksamt om det är värt pengen. Finns bättre tyska Pinoter för mindre pengar. — 3 months ago

Big 18 sunshine nose. Violets, mulch and spice. Some nice sweet wood as well. But just enormous spice. Very Fruh. Palate is so elegant and full of violets and wonderful inner mouth florals. Really nice opulent texture and just floats. Let’s see what air does. After air this gets more linear and gains edge and energy. Really different now than when it was p and p. — 7 months ago

Vintage 2014 | such a treat: minerality, melon, peach, honey, very harmonious with great structure. Tasted blind my wine mates determined it to be Riesling. Sylvaner van be magical with age from a top producer. — 4 days ago

Vintage 2017 | Amazing how fresh the Franken Silvaner stays after bottle and cellar years. Honeymelon and citrus in smell, minerality in taste, crisp and fresh. Almonds in aftertaste. Paired with Thai Pad Kra Pao from tofu. | second day with sole and asparagus, very adequate. — 17 days ago
