Jammy and smooth, perfect for an Italian dinner with bob and Marta at Justa Pasta in Portland. — 7 years ago
Gorgeous. Smells like savory herbs, like rosemary, and seasoned meat. Taste and texture is soft and smooth and velvety with mild tannins. The bottle said to enjoy it with beef or aged cheese. The only aged cheese I have is Parmesan and I have to say it goes pretty well. #merlotthursday — 8 years ago

Delicious with notes of plum and vanilla! Needs an hour to open up! One of the best from Pares Balta! — 6 years ago
Light and crisp, medium acidity, grapefruit accents. — 8 years ago
Great wine even though it didn’t hold up to my memories of former vintages, maybe because it’s a rare wine in its class that’s both excellent but drinks better young. It shed its primary character and left behind some ginger, vegetal tomato leaf and a silky texture with a long finish, driven by very prominent phenolic bitterness. Drinks like an austere high-quality white Bordeaux without the oak, but I miss the vibrant fruitiness and stronger Italian quality I get in its youth — 8 months ago

The fruit tippy-toed up and says, “believe it or not, I’m here.” At bit thin at first, but fills out nicely at the end. A great salad and wild rice/broccoli fritters with Marta and Bob. — 7 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over lunch. The 2024 “Primarûl” Friunalo pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of pear, white flowers, grapefruit zest, tarragon, and gravelly minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. Perfect for the weather and a spot of lunch on the patio at La Buvette. Drink now. — 7 days ago
