Lovely Chablis enjoyed with triple tail fish at The Veranda restaurant in old Ft. Myers, FL — 3 months ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and flinty floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and lemon citrus with notes of white flowers and spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity, nice balance ending with lemon citrus and flinty mineral character. Will age a bit. — 6 months ago
One of the better Village Bourgognes I have had of recent times. From Vosne Romanee and an excellent producer. Bright red berries (strawberry and raspberry). Sweet and luscious on the palate with low tannins. Thoughtful wine making with only 20% new oak. If tasted blind I probably would have said new world. Bottled by gravity and not fined. — 10 months ago
Was preferred suggestion, lovely Gamay, well structured, smooth, berries, a hint of tabac, minerals, VG — 4 years ago

2015 vintage. Last tasted 5.17.23 (9.4) and 3.8.23 (9.3). Courtesy of @Bill Bender. Decanted and tasted after 45 minutes and 1.5 hours. Medium body. Color just starting to flash slightly rusty/brown. Dirty nose and dirty flavors. This example had dropped much of the youthful fruit and in a state of transition. Still nice but definitely embracing soil/earth aspects vs those flighty fruit tones. Thank you, Bill!! 4.11.26. — 2 months ago

So delicious. Could go for a while longer but actually pretty amazing now! — 4 months ago
I think we need to get some life and excitement to this app! Here we go. No idea when and where I bought this. Cork perfect. No seep at all. 13%. Tons of tannins - I mean it. Has another 5 years or so but not more at this stage as the fruit will go down. And after that this wine will go into ??!!! Seems highly extracted and dense. Crushed marble, more dark than red fruit. A little to extracted for me - still rustic. A big wine. In fact huge. Blackberry, leather, hint violet, cedar, violets, lime, 🍋🟩 . Dry Red Port wine, plums. a benchmark wine i thought initially. My wife hated it. I am not convinced in the end the wife might be right!!!!!!! Happy wife happy life. — 7 months ago

Found a hidden gem crossing through Burgundy and a quick stop in Cote de Nuits. Never experienced a Pinot with such red fruit freshness and a strong back bone of minerality and fine grained tannins. Narrow on the palate, focused but with great depth and a long lingering finish. — 3 years ago
