Light garnet color with a small ruby core. Aromas of wet soil, red berries and dried rose petals. Flavors of raspberries, red currants, mushrooms and savory spices. Long lasting finish. Gripping acidity with very silky tannins. Light bodied and quite savory but still full of finesse. Needs a bit of aeration to fully open up. Solid value and nice mid-week option. Very nice Pinot. Good cherry notes and a little earthy. Paired well with a beef stew — 9 months ago
Garnet in color. Intense aroma of red licorice, cranberry, dried cherries, and smoke. Incredible earthy palate that tastes of campfire and unsweetened chocolate. It finishes with very mild tannins and long lingering flavor of earth , like autumn leaves on a forest floor. — 5 years ago

Gary Westby’s recommendations never fail! This is an amazingly versatile champagne that will pair with almost anything; from sushi to thanksgiving turkey and fixings to a nice steak! — 7 years ago
Nose - lilacs, soil, clay amphora and erasers! (Haha) Flavors - cranberry and tart blueberries. Mouthfeel - a bit sharp and acidic with a semi dry finish some tannins but not too much. Look - gorgeous garnet color. Food - went sooo very well with the lamb my hubs made. — 2 months ago

Picked this up a few months ago from the state store when I saw Louis Dressner. Seems different from the only other fleurie I’ve had. Lots of earth juice with raspberry. — 6 years ago
Reception pour at the Jean-Michel Cazes dinner.
On the nose; sweet & sour cherries, strawberries, under ripened tangerines, black cherries, brioche, nice volcanic minerals and red & pink roses.
The body is rich. Sweet & sour cherries, strawberries, under ripened tangerines, black cherries, ripe rhubarb notes, more brioche than the nose, seashells & oysters, nice volcanic minerals and red & pink roses. — 8 years ago
