A terrific effort for the vintage, with surprisingly bright and sweet black currant playing very nicely off gritty tannin in a very nice duet. I don't know how long this precarious balance will hold, but it will be a lot of fun while it lasts. — 9 years ago
Elegant delightful Pinot. Shared with our Silicon Valley friends on pizza night at our place in Palo Alto! — 6 months ago
Very nice Oregon Pinot — 8 years ago
Structured, but it felt constructed in a way I'm not used to what with all my French drinking. Still, great big fruit and green pepper flavors, enough acidity and body to keep everything in a precarious balance of more is more. — 10 years ago
2023 vintage. That mix of profile, "minéralité" and pricing...hits at a decent value. 1er Cru and village Chassagne, Puligny and Meursault has officially jumped the shark. Slightly less fleshy than those above but more love than Chablis...occupying a precarious place in (white) Burgundy as we speak. 04.09.25. — a year ago

2012 vintage. Last tasted 1.16.26 (9.4). WOW. Currently in that precarious, oh so difficult to nail, sweet space between youth and maturity whilst exhibiting plenty of both. Ridiculously excellent with so much complexity. 4.18.26. — a month ago
