Superb nose of red berries, leather, quince and some herbal notes. The palate is very well made with a great acid drive, some red berries notes all along, some width but it's rather light and smooth on the mouthfeel. There are some tannins in the rear, a bit dusty and drying and a long fruity and fresh finish that lingers for quite some time. I had never heard about refrosco before and I read that it's pretty confidential. I will make sure to dig into it some more! — 2 years ago

Eight years after the vintage... On the nose, this is cranberry and raspberry... On the palate, raspberry syrup, cranberry/cherry concentrate... Smoke? Earth? Mushroom? The tannins are very present. Powerful but not rough. Long finish. Pepper. — 10 months ago
