Fresh bright nose. Prominent raspberry amongst red fruit sweet palate. Dryish finish with final kick. Amazingly good with chevre. Survived well in bottle overnight. Enjoyed. — 10 years ago

See previous Delectable notes in 2017 and 2019. Quite a rich Ruby red. Aromatics of black and blue fruits, a cranberry note with a tarry charcoal note on nose and palate. HH said coal dust and I totally agree. Steve Pannell is recognised as Australia’s premium maker of alternative varieties and this wine proves that. We made his Nebbiolo the champion wine of the Toowoomba Wine Show a couple of years ago. Have the last one in say 2 years time. — 4 years ago
