Plenty of red berry notes, eg tart cranberry and cherry. There’s an underlying minerality, plus some herbal and almost smokey notes. A unique approach for the region. — a month ago
2022 vintage of this reserve Chardonnay. Notes of vanilla, pineapple and lemon. Smooth and easy on the palate. Delicious with pork tenderloin dinner! — 3 months ago
Rich and mouth filling in the luscious Felton Road style. Only 20% whole bunch letting the quality of the ripe fruit speak. Intense red and black fruits - raspberry to the fore. This is just a “village “ wine in comparison to their illustrious Block 3 and Block 5 but it more than holds its own. Impossible not to enjoy this wine. — 10 days ago

i asked for something interesting & unusual and this was suggested: southern Rhône varietals from CA, and it was fantastic! pours a deep rich ruby, opaque and wafting a cornucopia of aromas, intoxicating: first it was all exotic spices like clove & incense, garrigue, then it was cherry compote then it turned to raspberry pie, dried orange rind, dried herbs, pepper, etc. My first CA wine that smelled like high end CdP - liquified distilled voluptuous aromas & flavors. palate was so jam packed, med bodied, finely grained tannins, silky & suave - balanced acidity. screams old vine fruit handled well — 5 days ago
