Damn! It opened up with liquorice (sic.) and had just everything else in it. Mushrooms, turned earth, a touch of burnt honey and finally hiding just a hint of caramelized pineapple that lingers till the end. Sweetness only shows up for the grand finale in an jaw dropping show if how of how 95 g/l looks after 40 years — 19 days ago
Piercing acidity and citrus fruit but not much length. Nice wine, but Not to my taste. — 6 months ago
Great stuff and ready to drink. Same touch (and family) of Clos Rougeard, but price tag is less than a third. Still expensive but great bottle. Cabernet Franc better than that you need to tap at Chateau Cheval Blanc or Chateau Lafleur… — a month ago
Typisch Bienenwachs in der Nase, würzig, präzise, bisschen rauchig. Elegante Säurestruktur. Guter Trinkfluss. — 3 months ago
Amazing freshness with the 20+ age, spicy nose, pure minerality.
Hints of beeswax, shy quince, salty rocks, the purity here is just insane.
On the palate this hits with brilliant acidity (not far from Fino!), paired with spicy minerality and barely a hint of apples sprinkled with fleur de sel. Great depth and amazing electric tension.
This is brilliant! I am blown away. Wowza! — 6 months ago

This was as good as cab franc gets outside the right bank in Bordeaux. Very elegant, dense, mineral. Very very long in the mouth. Outstanding. — 15 days ago
