Pure expression of Syrah. Spice. One of a case bought EP and shows the value when you go hunting in the Rhone and trust the producer. — 2 months ago
At a school reunion in Brisbane at the Regatta Hotel Boatshed last Saturday. I selected this from the menu. The group loved it and we consumed several bottles. No formal notes but this was from the excellent 2018 vintage in South Australia. Dark fruits with well judged oak. A full bodied Cabernet Shiraz blend with great intensity and length. I have a few bottles in my cellar which I won’t be touching for many years. Destined to become one of the great “Signatures”. — 3 years ago
Basically 97% of a Côte Rotie at 1/4 the price. Just a lovely piece of work. All that time in the bottle didn’t hurt — 4 days ago

I love a syrah of this young fresh style - Mouth watering nose of perfectly ripe red and black fruits with deeper layers of violet and leather. — 3 years ago
Pretty good. Smooth — a month ago
This 2023 is an affordable “ Brother” of the northern Rhône. All about light bodied freshness and nuance, hints at it s big brothers in Crozes Hermitage. Will be a delightful picnic wine as the warmer weather arrives. Under $20 a bottle. — a year ago
Pop and pour. I like my Viognier a little more floral. That being said, this is still a ovely example. On the nose: soft herbs, pollen, maybe soft dried wildflowers. On the palate: good acidity, lovely density, maybe slightly advanced with lemon, dried herbs and cucumber on the palate. Not oxidized, but just lacking lift. — 3 years ago

Improved from around 18 mo ago. Deeper black fruit ie blackberry and black plum, black cherry; more lavender. Still fresh, more smoked meat, black pepper, good length. Some leather creeping in. Fantastic. — 5 days ago
