Sweet, light, burst of cherry, with slightly bitter aftertaste. Goes well with classic Italian fare (we paired with spaghetti and Turkey meatballs). — 2 years ago
Tobacco and earth, fading fruit and tannins. Went very well with spicy puttanesca spaghetti sauce. — 3 years ago

Wednesday spaghetti and meatballs, two dark chocolates for dessert. Pretty satisfying. — 23 days ago
This wine is medium-dark garnet. It has a fresh, ripe nose with a hint of funk present. The palate is full of bright, red fruit. Cherry, currant and raspberry flavors dominate, with a brisk mouthfeel of acidity and tannins. A savory side takes its cues from the earthiness found on the nose. Pair it with spaghetti and meatballs. — 5 months ago
Exceptional for the price point… as it says it’s great with red sauce spaghetti — 4 years ago

Okay... just off the FedEx truck...red-check-tablecloth spaghetti take-out—-screaming for Cali Zin, so the 2019 Paso is one of Ridge’s 100% Zins and perfect for early drinking. Opaque purple, mid-weight, and bursting with black fruit, American oak, and nice zippy acidity. Good California zin and ripe, rich tomato sauce is a match I rely upon. One of the wine worlds most amazing bargains...Ridge is a National Treasure! — 4 years ago

Vintage 2017 | 4 hours in decanter and then I was surprised by its accessibility. Very elegant wine with good structure, fine acidity and extreme good balance. Cherries. Paired with a spiced oyster mushrooms spaghetti. Reliable BdM — 10 days ago
