Nice deep ruby color with a nose of dark berries, chocolate and a hint of tar. Nice flavors consistent with the nose. A smooth wine with good tannin structure and balance. Nice finish. Tannins are there to allow at least another 2-3 years of aging if not quite a bit more. Nice date at home with my bride of 20 years and a couple of months. — 5 years ago
Pop and pour, but notes from 1.5 hrs open. This might bey favorite incarnation of this wine so far. Also apparently the vintage with the least whole cluster (15%). On the nose: lovely perfumed nose with sweet red raspberry, wild strawberry, loads of spice, soft herbal.notes. On the palate: excellent acidity and density: soft grapeseed notes, dark black raspberry, and soft, finely grained tannin on the finish. — 5 years ago

Spicy, floral- I like this bey much. One of the few wineries to do Cinsaut as a single varietal — 7 years ago
Straw colored with a bright nose of citrus zest, pineapple and white flowers. The texture is crisp and clean with medium plus acidity. It open with ripe cantaloupe, pear and lemon chiffon pie. The finish is round with notes of toasted almonds and cream! — 8 years ago
This was from a barrel lot purchased from the annual Premier Napa Valley auction in 2012 with 100% Cab Franc. Our group purchased this because it was the most Bordeaux styled of all of the lots offered. It continues to develop & evolve into a nice drinking wine. — 3 years ago
" The result is an opulent 2018 single varietal with a heavy dark cherry presence - coloring, nose and palate. You'll also find a bit of earth in the nose that becomes a hint of tobacco and leather in the mouth. Blueberry and rhubarb join in as well, leading to the long smooth finish". Amazing wine - probably drink it a little too early, but I'm glad I drank it when I did. — 4 years ago
