Nice, bakanced. Goes a little bit in sweetness. Good sangiovese, just what you are waiting for from softer sangiovese from montalcino. — 6 months ago
Leaning on the acidic. Great pairing for pizza! — 6 months ago
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim. A very pretty color.
Very aromatic nose right out of the bottle with black fruits, tobacco, vanilla, licorice, light cedar, spices and chocolate notes.
Full-bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with black plums, cooked cherries, blackberries, black currants, light wood, spices, coffee, light earth, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, peppercorn, licorice and herbs.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This 8 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Red Mountain is drinking gorgeously now. Rich and elegant. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.
I had this vintage 3 years ago, and it is drinking even better now. Drinking almost at its peak, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
Wine Spectator 92 points. Robert Parker 93 points.
Spicy and fruit forward. Tangy, interesting and very entertaining.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and will pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
A blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc. Aged in all new French oak barrels for 22 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
93 points.

For a Sangiovese that’s not “ super Tuscan”, there is evident oak. But this Jr.* package is finely knit, all in balance.
Lots of chocolate, mint, leather, dark cherries and oak tannins seductively put together. More of an adventure for those with some Sangiovese experience than an introduction. With Chicken livers & Garam Masala very nice.

Fun little white but missing that zing or expressive note. Moderate-minus acidity. More depth of flavor than the very light color would suggest. Solid with food. Not a bad deal at $23 but not a diamond in the rough either. — 3 months ago

Holy cow, fabulous! Pear, green apple, and lime notes. Light & refreshing but special enough for a celebration! A favorite! — 6 months ago
Flora Prosecco - nothing special, just generic prosecco — 10 months ago
