The 2016 has such strong fruit in the nose that it will tempt you to believe it may be a sweet wine. Powerful red berry blueberry infused bouquet with floral overtones. Silky smooth mouthfeel with a spot on balance of dryness. Glad I got more than one bottle — 5 years ago
The 2018 ‘Wichmann Dundee’ Pinot Noir is sourced from this smaller, 8 acre site set on volcanic soils in the Dundee Hills AVA. A light dusting of both white pepper and volcanic ash fall on the core of bright red fruits with shades of damp earth on the nose. The palate is bright, lithe and beautifully textured with excellent length. Surprisingly high-toned with its orange rind and cran-pomegranate flavors that meld with minerals and salty damp terroir, the 2018 ‘Wichmann Dundee’ Pinot Noir is bright and delicious to savor in its youth but has a long way to go, as it will evolve to something distinctly earthy and a world away from what we see now. Nice Chardonnay from Williamette. Needs some time for a hint of oak to blow off, but overall this is quite “Burgundian” - Puligny to be more precise. Aromatics a bit muted but mouth filling with a great finish. — 7 years ago
Sorry about the faux label - lost my pic somewhere.
The last wine from my Oregon tasting, and it was a special one.
Lovely nose of blackberries and minerals. Palette is saturated, concentrated and sails on. Very supple. $100 wine - I’m not sure about that... — 8 years ago

Yamhill-Carlton, 100% Pinot Noir. Bright, Montmorency cherries, juicy. — 2 years ago
Good nose, light fruit cherries and raspberries, nice earth tones getting towards the end of life IMO — 4 years ago
13.1%. Dark fruit on the nose. Seems dark to me in the glass. Hint of sweetness - figs. Dark cherries bright and juicy with good acidity. Burgundian in style. This is impressive! Very well done! I would buy this - from the San Diego Wine Co. . This should be available in other retail stores and from the winery it’s worth to seek out. — 7 years ago
Jammie, long finish... we are enjoying it!! — 9 years ago
You guys... such a good Riesling. Not too sweet, Apple and grassy flavors. Medium body — 6 years ago
Tastes almost like an old world riesling with dry minerals and a touch of effervescence on the finish. Paired with Dungeness crab lightly tossed with Meyer lemon, mayo salt pepper on a with low salt trader joe potato chips. Great combo. — 8 years ago
Pale brilliant straw-yellow. Vibrant, incisive citrus fruit, floral and mineral aromas show outstanding clarity and a deeper pear note that emerges as the wine stretches out. A pure, sharply delineated example of Riesling, offering concentrated but nervy pink grapefruit, lime and green apple flavors along with hints of honeysuckle and green tea. Closes impressively long and precise, featuring resonating citrus zest and mineral notes and a touch of bitter quinine. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, Feb 2018) — 8 years ago
