Absolutely extraordinary. Starts wide open at a 9.7 with a lush, creamy palate with tons of energy.Ultra compelling. But then gains structure. Will be a long air out for this one. Nose is unreal spice. Just crazy exotic and awesome. Elite stuff. With air this sheds its tannin and becomes a hedonism bomb. Just insane. — a month ago
This needs air big time as the nose starts off maybe 10% too herbal for me. But it also has nutmeg, voluminous spice, mid season cherry fruit and intense minerality. Really clear and vivid aromas. Wow what a palate. Exquisite balance and freshness and so much sweet and tart fruit. Unreal inner mouth aromas. Wow that sweetness is sick. Brilliant velvety and sweet tannins. This is brilliant! That herbal note is gone after 5 minutes and now this is a Mugneret-Gibourg clone but nervier. The density and concentration and the inner mouth florals (violets) are insane. This is brilliant. 9.6 now but can go higher. An hour in this is a 9.7 nose. Dizzying spice. Luscious cherry fruit. Amazing perfume. Just insane. Palate is so good. High honed but sweet like mid season perfectly ripe cherries. What a finish. Just a knockout. — 9 months ago
Baden Cabernet Franc. Yup. Stunning. Nose is ashen violets. Mesmerizing. Deep, delicate and layered. 9.7 nose. Blown away. Palate is so achingly beautiful. Juicy and so perfectly balanced and jaw dropping pure with sweet tannins and a firm mineral backbone. Fresh and energetic and full of energy. Just brilliant stuff. It’s got elite elegance. Really has a floating mid palate and unreal concentration. So fresh. Just stunning fruit and freshness. — 6 days ago
Glorious. Violets, pastille, clay, granite and herbs. So aromatic. Palate is juicy and so energetic. So dense yet slippery and awesome, ripe tannins. More notes after dinner! With air this has come alive. Nose is so intensely pastille. Sweet blackberries. Violets. Gravy. So aromatic. Palate is so elegant and soft. Juicy as hell. Such purity. Outrageous. Still brilliant on day 2. So dense and explosive. Unreal clarity here. Wow! — 25 days ago

Gorgeous nose. Perfumed. Floral. Silky and juicy. Lovely and juicy. So nimble and elegant. Very feminine. Crunchy and ripe tannins. Lovely purity. Really pretty. Silky.
@Delectable Wine this wine is called Achim Dürr Pinot Noir Von Buntsandstein. Thanks! — 3 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple days. Better on Day 1. The 2020 Pinot Noir “Hard 200°” pours a dull ruby color with a translucent core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with wild notes of sour cherry, raspberry, cranberry, mustard seed, freshly cut dill, celery root, parsnips, and coniferous forest floor. On Day 2, it became a touch mousey but I could tolerate it. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. Based on this example, drink now. That being said, the ride is wild and totally worth it. Thanks for the assist @Lyle Fass — 4 days ago
