Love this German Pinot I got from @Lyle Fass ! It was very good upon opening, but really benefits from air. Lots of beautiful fruit and delicate balance. What I don’t love is how it’s getting harder to post on this broken app. I might have to finally move on to Vivino, which I don’t like much, but form follows function. — 2 months ago

Very Chambolle like. Red fruits and flowers. Savory and also gamey as well with stunning purity. Lithe and silky. Sweet and deep. Palate is elegant and nimble in a red riesling style. Baden Cabernet Franc. Yup. Stunning. Nose is ashen violets. Mesmerizing. Deep, delicate and layered. 9.7 nose. Blown away. Palate is so achingly beautiful. Juicy and so perfectly balanced and jaw dropping pure with sweet tannins and a firm mineral backbone. Fresh and energetic and full of energy. Just brilliant stuff. It’s got elite elegance. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple days. Better on Day 1. The 2020 Pinot Noir “Hard 200°” pours a dull ruby color with a translucent core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with wild notes of sour cherry, raspberry, cranberry, mustard seed, freshly cut dill, celery root, parsnips, and coniferous forest floor. On Day 2, it became a touch mousey but I could tolerate it. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. Based on this example, drink now. That being said, the ride is wild and totally worth it. Thanks for the assist @Lyle Fass — 5 months ago

Glorious. Violets, pastille, clay, granite and herbs. So aromatic. Palate is juicy and so energetic. So dense yet slippery and awesome, ripe tannins. More notes after dinner! With air this has come alive. Nose is so intensely pastille. Sweet blackberries. Violets. Gravy. So aromatic. Palate is so elegant and soft. Juicy as hell. Such purity. Outrageous. Still brilliant on day 2. So dense and explosive. Unreal clarity here. Wow! — 6 months ago

Achim durr sauvignon blanc vom keuper.

Nose: major lychee.

Palate: lychee. Hint of honey. Mineral sweetness. Delicious.

This is what most NZ sauvignon blanc would taste like if it didn’t suck.

Really stunning nose. Gamey, meaty, Chambertin like. Very aromatic and very pretty. Gorgeous and insane vivid cherries. Really top notch clarity here. Just incredible. Gorgeous red fruits. 12.5%. Wonderful. Super juicy and pure. So fresh and just bursting with ripe acidity. Sweet fruit but edgy and so fresh. Long and tangy. Very very pure. Excellent ripe tannins. Amazing energy.
