Eine dieser seltenen ausnahmen kreiiert von Winning mit seinem Sauvignon Blanc I - birgundische fülle gepaart mit nussig, weichen vanillearomen, wenig gras, keine stachelbeeren sichtbar. The nose shows lemon zest, pineapple and a petrol note. The palate is made of a massive acid backbone, some lemony and yellow fruits notes all along, it's vibrant and almost tensed and finishes with a nice long zesty and fresh note that holds for a while. Super dry Riesling that's true to its type. First one of a list of 8 German rieslings I recently bought to study some more 😊 — 4 years ago

2011 Dr. Buerklin-Wolf Riesling Pfalz QbA. From one of the largest (110 ha) privately owned wine estates in Germany. The estate Riesling, a blend of top sites in the Bereich Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstrasse, from Deidesheim and Wachenheim. Tried various vintages of this wine and it never disappoints, pure mineral spice, tangy and textured. Delicious from the approachable 2011 vintage. — 11 years ago
