Cool label that represents the landscape of the vineyard. Very, very dark color. Like the color of a purple ink well. Aroma is warm forest duff in the sun mixed with beet and black cherry juice. Hint of green bell pepper or maybe broccoli fields after harvest, but faint. Flavors are robust and hearty. Plum sauce (like the Chinese savory version) mixed with pomegranate molasses. Tannins on the tongue are strong, but they add a savory side. Hint bittersweet like coffee/dark unsweetened chocolate. This is a very nice big boy Syrah. Not showing much age considering the 10 years in the bottle. It’s nice, but it might get better more years in. — a year ago
good food wine, very versatile — 3 years ago
Absolutely wonderful find. Mild grapefruit primary, light floral and limestone seconds. Loved it! — 4 years ago
I’m not sure why the app calls this Zinfandel a Syrah, but whatever. The nose is ripe red fruit, raspberry, dark cherry, and strawberry jam. More red fruit on the palate with a nice blend of oak, black tea, and cola. High acid, tannins, and alcohol, but, hey, it blends. Young and tart after six years, but not overpowering, this wine could make me a zin fan, maybe, someday. — 7 years ago
Excellent Pinot Blanc. Nice acid. — 7 years ago
Soft and elegant on the nose, big on the palate. Notes of shiso leaf, peach, beeswax, apricot. Dry, full bodied with good amount of acidity and minerals on the palate. — 8 years ago
This time around was great with a leg of lamb! Chocolate, coffee and mild tannins. — 3 months ago

Funky nose 👃 but tastes like ripe pineapple 🍍 bright acidity but a little complex — 7 years ago
13.5% abv. Little viognier. Label says “ savor it over the next ten years”. We sure did. Even more tasty in 2025. — 8 months ago
Drinks a little hot this time around and I opened it at the correct temp. Concentrated with ripe tannins and some interesting wet rock nuances in the palate. Quality for the price is definitely there. — 9 months ago
Really beautiful, showing age well — 3 years ago
medium bodied, very nice fruit — 4 years ago
Just nice and smooth — 7 years ago
This will only get better with age and it’s already terrific. The biggest takeaway for me was the lingering taste of hot chocolate mix; subtle but undeniable. The bouquet is stuffed with cedar shavings, the dark fruit is strong but not obnoxious and the tannins coat the tongue, rather than attack it. — 8 years ago

Had this again. Label is hint classy. Rustic. Color is lighter with a slight rust to the edge. Smells like rocks in the sun and flint. Berries too. Flavors are juicy, fruity and balanced. Zippy. This is a lighter styled GSM with a classy elegance to it. — 3 days ago
