While not in the same league as the legendary 2000, 2006 is showing well after sufficient air (3 hour decant), but still incredibly youthful and even a bit rustic with noticeable tannins. This is not an elegant vintage, but rather immensely structured, dense and dark fruited with Rhône-esque camphor and bacon, coffee beans and black tea. I’d give this several more years for the tannins to soften and palate to integrate but I’m not sure this will reach the heights of 02 and 00. — 7 months ago
Side by side with the 00 Cheval Blanc. Showed really well! Took 1.5 hrs in decanter/glass to really show its stripes. — 4 years ago
This bottle confirms my love of 00’s whites and still consider them the best Oregon chard producer. Tons of fruit and still light on its feet. — 3 months ago
Stunningly good at 22 years old. Deep and dense. Soil’y with aromas of black currant and bittersweet chocolate. I’ve been enjoying a lot of 00-05 medoc wines lately. While not mind blowing they are wonderful all alone or with the right food. Shows what a $30 bottle from a great terroir / producer is capable of. Not every wine needs to cost hundreds of dollars to be enjoyable — 3 years ago
The 2019 vintage is described as a true representation of a classic cool Willamette year. With lower alcohol, bright acidity, and incredible freshness, this medium-bodied Chardonnay delivers a beautifully rich texture. Always a favorite of mine, and once again, did not disappoint. — a month ago

Nose was off the charts. Already very integrated for 22. Very good but doesn’t separate itself from the pack at this price point — 2 days ago
