A very good winter wine that would warm you up without feeling like you’re in a hot tub — 2 years ago
Interesting wine. Some sort of semi obscure Tuscan grape sometimes used for blending in Chianti. Very very juicy - maybe too much so. Pretty light, but with great fruit and a surprisingly long finish. Good acid, very little in the way of tannins.
Editing up to 9.0 with a bit more air. Fleshes out in a nice way. — 2 years ago
90 % Chardonnay, 10 % Pinot Noir and Pinot Bianco.
Traditional Champagne method with 36 months on the lees.
Golden green in colour.
Bread dough, lemon, green apples flowers and a touch of toastiness. Firm acidity with a fine creamy mousse.
Vittorio Moretti bought the property in the 1970s.
His first vintage in 1979 was made with the idea of having his own wine to drink with friends.
Let’s all agree that we need a friend like that. — a month ago
Having this delicious wine with chicken stuffed with home grown sage pesto wrapped in prosciutto. Has a nice dry slate flavor with a hint of pear. — a year ago
Light, floral and perfumed nose, Medium bodied with grippy, dusty tannins, with prominent flavors of red and black cherry and hints of coffee, hibiscus and a nice freshness that lasts and lasts, with a very slight taste of wet stones at the veryyy back of the palate at the finish. We liked it and would but again! — 2 years ago

This is a bit more dense and complex on the nose , denser fruits perhaps with some cedar , herbal hints along side the slightly bitter cherries . This fills out more on the palate , is longer and more intense , touch of herbal bitter cherries and pine sap. Really long and fresh . Needs time but has all the qualities to age well over the next 10 years . At Vinous Icons NY , Pier 60 , Feb 2025. — 17 days ago
