The palate attack starts with high acid and citrus/mandarin, then moves into an incredible mid palate - round, creamy, with pure citrus and peach fruit giving vibrancy. A nose of stewed plum, hazelnut skin (Always for me in ages wines), and some slight tabac.
A hefty wine, thin in the middle, yet flavor fully wrapped around that one blank spot. Black cherry, herbs du Provence, slab apricot acidity, and smoked wood chips.
An excellent wine.
