Sparkling wine, feeling so fine. This was so lovely. The grapefruit notes made it very memorable. — 5 years ago
Feiner Weissburgunder, schöne Frucht, gut eingebundene Säure. — 5 years ago
Another solid vintage of Ziereisen’s Entry Level Baden Spatburgunder. Dark garnet color with a ruby core. Fragrant aromas of red cherry/berry fruit, forest floor and a hint of smoke. Flavors of sour cherry, unripe strawberry and pomegranate fruit with additional hints of dried herbs, savory spices and minerals. Long lasting earthy finish and extremely smooth tannins. Medium bodied with a very smooth texture and a bit of tension. Rustic but quite elegant at the same time. Excellent quality for a reasonable price. — 3 months ago

Outrageous showing. Confectionary nose of sugar snap peas, sweet pink celery, herbs, some apricot and just awesome, forceful driving minerality. Palate is super elegant, super juicy and just so super delicious. Amazingly pure and balanced and so so clean. Slips, slides and glides on the palate. Exceptional minerality that is alive and super cleansing. Just on point. — 5 years ago
For the price, this is an excellent wine. Subtle hint of tannins, mellow fruitiness, and nice and dry. Excellent with Thai style pork skewers. — 5 years ago

I was surprised when this turned out to be an orange wine, but not at all disappointed. Beautiful amber color, medium bodied, with a strong nose of ripe, sweet fruit, with good acid, and notes of navel orange, Meyer lemon, sweet cream (though VERY light), with hints of mustard, celery and other subtle vegetal notes. Palate is smooth, with great energy and well integrated creamy motes of ripe orange, blood orange and grapefruit, but not tart, with more prominent vegetable notes, maybe some more anise and celery. At the finish there’s even hints of some smoky BBQ, which ends in a dry, slightly spicy and savory hue. — 15 days ago
