Cheapie screw top liter from the dusty place around the corner and … ok! Warm blood standard shet. I can imagine it would go well with harder sharper cheeses actually. I can taste some raisiny tannin. Not bad! 13.99, 70% Syrah, 30% Grenache. Wish I had a mahkluba. — 5 months ago
A wonderful Mount Veeder Cab that has aged elegantly.
The nose shows blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum laced with savory notes of cedar, tobacco and dried herbs. The palate is concentrated yet vibrant with silky tannins has firm grip, finishing long with hints of cocoa and espresso.
Restrained power and finesse, Yannick brought both Veeder’s rugged characters and French precision. Last bottle. — 9 months ago

Bright and citrusy. Would drink again. — 6 years ago
String tropical fruit notes tempered by age and acidic backbone enough to go well with fish (Fung) and our mixed leftovers! — 8 months ago
A fruit forward and delicious wine. Lots of red fruits balanced excellently with Syrah and Mourvèdre. Medium finish. — 9 months ago
Good rose from green monkey wine club, bought one to go — 3 years ago
Entry on this wine needs to acknowledge 23% Semillon in the blend. Great acid with lemon notes that turned into pink grapefruit. Bright and crisp — 3 years ago
This is excellent. Needs some air. Better on day 2. Clearly a Californian super Tuscan style with tons of spice, tobacco, and ripe plums, maybe even some dried fruit. Cherries as well on a good tannin finish. Great with food and will be better in a few years. — 6 years ago
Dry but no bite at the end. Delish — 6 years ago
