Was planning on a 9.3 but then the pizza came and the wine became even more pronounced, intense, rich, penetrating dried red fruit, earthy and minerally laced. Very nice barbaresco. Haven’t had this producer before. Quite accessible at this age. Pretty classic Nebbiolo color and profile. Seamless with nice fruit and earth and leather. Good acid and a long finish. Great pairing with a steak and veal sorrentina at campagnola. Enjoyed quite a bit!
