Deep Purple color, nose has blackberry, bit of oak. Mountfield doesn’t feel like 14.8% ABV, but it is. Long, live the queen of Zin! @carolshelton — 9 months ago

Lovely dark amber color. Beautiful aromas and flavors of caramel, molasses, maple syrup, citrus zest and roasted nuts. Hint of saline on the long and luxurious finish. Sweetness is certainly there but there is also nice minerality (and that hint of saline) that really keeps this Wine extremely well balanced. Fresh and lively. This one makes me wonder why I do not enjoy sherry more often. Thanks again to Kasey and Pete. Happy Birthday, Carol. — 3 years ago
