Peppery, nice depth with the petit Syrah paired well with a burger and fries. — 3 months ago

Ok. Not worth the hype nor the price. — 7 months ago
This is showing beautifully right now, with a beguiling blend of orange peel, cassis, and anise aromas that carry over to the palate, where black cherries, balsamic notes, and a delicate mix of earthy autumnal spices provide a sensuous background. Soft mouthfeel with fine tannins that peek out a bit on the long finish, where the spiced citrus seems to last forever. Paired perfectly with pan-roasted wild mushrooms and dry-aged ribeye. — 2 months ago
Got 90% of the cork extracted before it broke because the last part stuck to the inside of the neck. Ended up decanting about 3 hours ago (through cheesecloth), but OMG, simply soaring dark fruits, floral, and lovely road tar as well, this is still somewhat primary fruit wise, but tannins and structure are now soft, supple and broad in its flavors, very long, lingering finish, great Cru Barbaresco!!! — 6 months ago
Very nice Barolo from a year I haven’t had much of. Needs an hour+ of air to balance out. Tons of cherry on the nose. Palate is intense, in a good way - the fruit hits hard and persists with mouth staining power. Long finish with excellent acid. Structure on the finish is still quite serious, but with food (a long simmered beef shin and pork shoulder ragu this time) does very well. — 2 months ago
Nose: light florals. Wispy. Hints of cherry.
Palate: perfect cherry. Hint of rubber.
