Primarily Merlot (includes 10% each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) Red Bordeaux Blend. Much better than the 2015 Vintage. Ripe black fruit and plum aromas and flavors. Hints of balsamic vinegar with just a touch of barnyard funk. Full bodied, rich and complex. The tannins, however, are incredibly soft. Great QPR for a Grand Cru Bordeaux Blend. Excellent wine. Subtle notes but strong tannins at the end. Drinks more like a CA wine which I like. — 10 years ago

Very drinkable, nothing spectacular. Not oaky, not fruit forward. — 4 years ago
I had the 2014 wine on February 2020 and it perfect balanced in taste. It drinks very light and still has it own character. One of my favorites. — 6 years ago
Medium bodied. Great finish. — 9 years ago
Stunning! Shared at luncheon hosted by Château de Lescours on 4/9/16. Beautifully harmonious, balanced, fully mature but not over the hill. Rich mouth-feel, almost chewy (in a good way). — 10 years ago

2016 vintage. At the time under the reign of the Audoy family, and recently sold, together with their other estate Cos Labory, to neighbour Cos d'Estournel. A good, old-fashioned Saint-Estèphe with rather rustic tannins that offers decent value for the appellation at 15,50 euro, even if I believe that they could have done a better job with this terroir in a great vintage. — 3 months ago
