Chavignol Sancerre Pinot Noir 2015

First Rosé of the season in Seattle, clocking in with sunshine and 58 degrees 😃. Pretty dark on the eye: rose gold, almost burnt orange. Nose sees minerality, some bright red strawberries and raspberries, red and white flowers abound. Palette sees a healthy does of acid (medium), lots of minerality, more bright red fruits, with long finish that moves slowly across your palette. — 9 years ago

Oriane Sancerre Pinot Noir 2022

Really delightful. No reason not to say it’s a 10/10. Red Sancerre, who knew. A gorgeous luminescent light red, the bouquet is fruity and peppery, and it’s got a beautiful mix of perfume and acidic bite. Santé. — 4 months ago

Domaine Daniel Chotard

Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Nice Sancerre, but more sweetness than our go-to producer (Boulay), the Chotard is of course, lower cost (not always an indication of quality, but it agrees tonight). — 9 years ago
