Nice with the chicken and pork entrées. We don’t drink much of this varietal, but this one was really nice. Not what we expected in a pub type restaurant, but maybe we should, at least at this one. — 4 years ago

Got much better. It needed to open up. — 6 years ago
A nice Beaujolais from a vintage that I don’t usually love compared to 2014/2016. Definitely better with an hour or so in a decanter to let the tannins integrate a bit more. Dark purple in the glass - darker than expected. Nice cherry aromas. Still could resolve a bit more on the finish but with a slight chill is nice. — 7 years ago
Lots of strawberry, cherry, blackberry jam on the nose and palate, peppercorn, and yeast notes, bright acidity — 7 years ago

Pretty racy Morgon, intense and airy as we like. Deep ruby-Grenat colour (unfiltered). Nose a little "natural" that can bother the least used to without half an hour of aeration. Superb cherry, strawberry and red fruit notes, English candy, peppery, and light oaky touch in the distance. Gourmet and concentrated mouth, vegetable/red fruit/peppery finish, with a lot of freshness.
— 4 years ago
Great mouthfeel. Flinty and high acidity. Great value. — 6 years ago
Tart cherries, stewed fruits, oak, baking spices. Medium plus body and teetering on high acid. Medium tanins and medium plus finish. — 6 years ago
Love this wine, so smooth, white pepper and ripe fruit. — 7 years ago
Rich beige gold (is this oaked?). Inviting nose and rich palate of half-baked pear, white spices (again, is this oaked?), and citrus rind. Medium plus acidity. Bitter orange candy on the medium long finish. Not your mother's Sancerre. Richer and more body than the typical offering. Pair with somewhat heartier "white wine" fare. Scallops, risotto, roast poultry/game fowl, or pork tenderloin come to mind. Try it with fried chicken! Drink now through 2025. — 4 years ago

I’ve been anticipating my first #chinon taste. This wine started out tight - right after pouring you get a pronounced meaty nose which opens up to floral and subtle vegetal notes and laid back dark fruit. Plenty of acidity on the palate, reserved red fruit, leather, dried violets finishing with structured tannins. Fantastic wine to have with food, but also delicious by itself. — 6 years ago
Dry, high acid big body. Super drinkable — 6 years ago
Sexy fucking wine. Sexy is overused but I’d get in a hastily planned 3 month relationship with this wine that would end in bitter heartbreak. Gorgeous nose. Flowers, big cherries, lipstick vibe. Palate is ripe and opulent with lovely sucrosity and wonderful freshness. Silky tannins and great mouthfeel. Very 15 but also very alluring. Long finish. Wonderful mineral drive and very complex. Great today. — 7 years ago
