Drank with dinner with rob and Andrea in Bordeaux — 2 months ago
Cork came out in 3 pieces, but no cork pieces left in bottle. Color is still medium-red, very faint browning on edges, massive cedar and cigar box aromatics, some pencil lead as well shows on palate, medium-weight, lovely balance, long, lingering finish, great older Bordeaux. Purchased at release for a song ($125/case) still have 5 left, this is one of my all-time favorite Pauillacs in the “non-1st, non-super 2d” category, amazing juice!! — 5 months ago
This paired magnificently with a porc filet. A great alternative to a pinot noire — 23 days ago

Really nice light Pinot Noir, mated well with the tuna and Mac and cheese entrees. — 9 months ago
Expensive but worth it. This Bordeaux is just right now. Paradigmatic Pauillac with deep brooding flavor and bitter finish. Tannins are perfectly smooth. Perfect with steak or on its own while listening to music while contemplating the meaning of life. All of the leather, earth, and tar one can expect from a fine Pauillac and under $100. — a month ago
Really great value St Emillion, opened up after about an hour and a half and drank super well. Balanced and rich while still acidic enough to keep it from being flabby. Real nice! — 3 months ago
Platonic ideal of Cab Franc. No notes. — 8 months ago

Vintage 2022 | if there was an Oscar for drinkability, this Burgundy would be a winner. Treacherous simple it seems but it is a good effort of the vintners. Beautiful Pinot expression in smell. Glou glou in taste, no frayed edges. No tannins whatsoever. Paired with grilled tunafish, red with fish pairs excellent. Do not think of putting it in the cellar, if you can enjoy it so much on a daily base now. Like! — 25 days ago
