Bought the bottle at the winery in France. Raspberry and dark fruit bouquet. Delicate up front. Soft earthy taste in the middle. Leather and vanilla(?) on the back. Medium earthy finish. Perfect with Chicago deep dish pizza! Definitely not a fruit bomb from California! — a year ago
A very alluring blend, still young. — 3 years ago
Clear, medium ruby to garnet in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of black cherries, cassis, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and intense primary and secondary flavors of blackberries, black cardamom, and wet gravel with a medium finish. This wine is simple, but balanced. Overall, I rate this wine as good. — 2 months ago
2018 vintage. A more flashy, extracted style compared to stable mates Villemaurine and Sansonnet, but very well done. — 2 years ago
Excellent! It took very little time to breathe which was unexpected for a 2011. We will be buying more of this if we can find it. — 2 years ago
Chocolate, red berry nose. Very well balanced wine. Long finish. Nice tannins — 2 months ago
2000 for daughters birthday decanted, wonderful immediately and grew better over time sitting in the decanter. Only one bottle left in cellar after this one. — 8 months ago
Just delicious, dark fruit, a little green in the best way, long soft tannins — 3 years ago

Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of black plums, graphite, and leather; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of cherries, blueberries, and clay pots with a medium finish. This wine is complex and intense. It's a little hot for my tastes and probably needs to breath. Overall, I rate this wine as good. — 22 days ago
