Stone fruit with a refreshing mineral finish. — 8 years ago

Different and expressive. It doesn’t have the nuance and pensiveness you can find in the world’s best Chenin. But this is still very good with ripe tropical fruits and pear. Lychee, passion fruit, buttered popcorn. Creamy, austere, moderately abrupt. — 7 years ago
Buttery, floral, round/full mouth feel, apple on the nose, slightly acidic (maybe limestone?) mineral after-taste. Like a meadow - at the beginning all you see is grass, but at the end you reach the top of the hill and then you see forest. An American Oak Forest. It's a smooth wine. — 7 years ago
Gladys Knight definitely heard it through the grapevine on this wine. Grape roundness with hints of olive oil, citrus, and saline.

Damn! It opened up with liquorice (sic.) and had just everything else in it. Mushrooms, turned earth, a touch of burnt honey and finally hiding just a hint of caramelized pineapple that lingers till the end. Sweetness only shows up for the grand finale in an jaw dropping show if how of how 95 g/l looks after 40 years — 22 days ago
