took a flyer on this based on @Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego review and I agree - charming little wine, great QPR, balanced, plenty of stuffing & some polish. Legit southern FR blend, generous smooth well-knit — 9 months ago

Have had a few bottles of this, took a flyer on a case from the Del Posto auction given it’s a birth year port. Not as deep or rich as some of the truly great ports I’ve had but still absolutely wonderful. Still has great balance and acid with a long finish. — 3 years ago
Fun label but often times that can mean not the best. This Rose from horse Haven hills stands out nicely. Very refreshing and crisp. I didn't know what to expect from a Cabernet Sauvignon Rose. I never expected something is good. — 5 years ago
2022 vintage. Most excellent lunchtime visit from the esteemed @Pinotman /// Andreas . A fave C-M plot. Premmie Cru (always nice) effort. We traced this wine through the various temps. Generous, yet balanced acidity coupled with fruit in the early, chilly going. Light-medium/medium body. Back-end oak influence that was complimentary during the visit. Never got flabby…even when it warmed up to 60+ degrees. Classically structured with phenomenal tension. No rush to crush yet drinking so well so early. Decisions…decisions. Enjoy as you will under your preferred palate/aging guidelines. There is no wrong answer here. 11 bottles left and I only can wish of having another case at my disposal. Picked up a case of this, Les Vergers and Les Caillerets after only sampling Les Vergers (9.4) from the 2022 vintage. May have lucked out on that flyer. 3.4.26. — 3 months ago

A purchase from Last Bubbles. Not familiar with this producer, but coming from a nice vintage and spending almost 11yrs on the lees was enough for me to take a flyer.
Paired with a massive spread of caviar, sashimi, oysters. As mentioned below, this was a bit one dimensional upon opening but fleshed out nicely an hour or two later. If comparing against a bigger name, I’d say this is in a vein of Bollinger (slightly big/rich, but balanced; toasty). Fresh lemon scone and puff pastry aromatically, but it goes a bit more salted popcorn, nougat-like on the palate and finish. While this doesn’t sport a ton of layers, it’s tasty and will hang in this drinking window for a while. I’d buy again.
Paired well with the 3L of 1999 SQN “Marauder” behind it! — 3 years ago

Took a flyer buying this from Benchmark. Bottle was in perfect condition, but sadly past its peak. Nose was outstanding - huge - chocolate, spice box. Had lost any acidity to balance the huge fruit. And at 17%, it kicked our ass. Would love to try a slightly younger rendition. — 8 months ago
Excellent Beauj I picked up at an independent store on Dixie Hwy…recognized Thevenet from an earlier rating….classic muddy fruity Beauj that will be really awesome in ~5yrs, but drinking well now — 2 years ago

Solid choice for a cocoa/Espresso and fruit combo. Even though the claim is espresso, it might come across more like cocoa to me. Either way, I do appreciate the combo with fruit. Other claims are cherry and vanilla, which are not as center stage but more background singers of texture to the espresso/cocoa. This is interesting and worthwhile to periodically mix in with oaky blends, yet I prefer oak to cocoa/coffee most of the time. I’m curious if there are other better cocoa/espresso blends out there, but I’ll say this one is well-balanced and I’d gladly return. — 3 years ago
Dixie bought as Christmas present, great smooth, easy drinking lighter red. 2019 vintage — 4 years ago

a pleasant surprise from Jadot inn a good vintage hitting on all cylinders out of the gate. Served by the glass so I took a flyer on it. Glad that I did! I kissed a few frogs with Jadot but this one is very nice. @67PallMall London — 24 days ago
