Verry cherry. Lovely delicate but plenty robust — 5 years ago
Vintage 2017 Sóóó seductive and quaffable. It says rosé, it is a #blancdenoirs from #cabernetfranc it is real #loirefunk this #bourgueil that was on barrels for 10 months. Partnered it with Thai curry with shrimps. — 8 years ago
I expected more acidity but this was interesting and easy to drink. — 10 years ago
Top class. Cab Franc doesnt get much better. Umami rich but still tight: give it 3y. — 12 years ago
Opened yesterday, drank over 2 days.
The nose is very fruity and intense with dark cherry touches, earthy notes, some raspberry and blackberry scents too. I could even smell some peony notes too. This is really inviting. The palate is wide and long and quite complex. A good acid drive, some dark cherry notes all along, some very soft and easy going mouthfeel that is changing in mid palate with a great tannic wall, which adds a layer of dust over an otherwise quite juicy and fruity finish. In the back-end though, there is a tiny savoury note that pops along with a subtle bitterness. This is really my kind of cab franc. Really good stuff! — 2 years ago

Searsons, first St Nicolas de B for awhile, cracking cabernet franc, all the usual characters love it. — 2 years ago
Catching up from a few days ago — Work travel - when they hand me the wine list. My effort at being reasonable. Everyone cheered this selection. The little things….
2019 Les Quarterons is a Cab Franc from the Loire region. They had this selection in the Rhône section, but was very un-Rhône like. Almost Oregon Pinot style. Paired really well with my Duck Cassoulet. — 3 years ago
Tør, næsten streng vin med masser af rå solbær i næse og mund. Trods garvesyre og rank krop et meget drikkevenligt glas vin. — 5 years ago
@Mesa in Zurich - the wine has lovely expression of fresh fruits, with pomegranate and cranberry accents, on a slightly spicy background. — 7 years ago
This is delicious! Peppery but not heavy, I could go back to this bottle time and time again.

vintage 2016 | Odd experience. With 10 y I thought this to be a perfect wine for my Sunday dinner. When my wife and I tasted it we were making funny faces to each other. Verdict: undrinkable. We put it back in the bottle and I took it to a blind tasting with friends. They appreciated the wine. With 72+ hours air the wine came to life. Nice cab franc characteristics. — 2 months ago
