I decided to revisit a bottle that was the winner of our horizontal tasting of MSD 2016 village (10 producers tasted blind by 10 participants). And once again this is a hit for a village. Lots of complexity, licorice, spices and red fruits... more than satisfactory length for this level of appellation. — 6 years ago
Doesn’t drink like a Chablis, rather closer to a chassagne montrachet. — 3 years ago
My final btl of a half case, and the best btl. On the nose: hoisin, game, black cherry, a hint of char, spice and perfume. On the palate: excellent acidity, black cherry and wild strawberry..very hi-toned, supple and weightless on the palate. On the finish: attenuated tannin, some cocoa and strawberry, and a touch of white pepper. Drank alongside a '14 Charlopin Marsannay Echezots, and I think this was unquestionably the better wine. — 6 years ago

Strawberry and plum. Deep fruity.Roses. Raspberry jam. Still acidic, but juicy. Wait for 2 year. Slight tannic. Herve Charlopin, Marsannay clos du roy 22 @, Gdrop, 240906 — 2 years ago
Smooth acidity and mild fruitiness — 3 years ago
Good herb aroma and concentration. Later on Strawberry. 3 hours, Splendid, mix fruity flavor including plum, tropical fruits. I felt the same before when I tasted grand cru in Bourgogne. Philippe Charlopin Morey St. Denis Pinot Noir 2016 @2730, Kping - , 211020-211126 — 5 years ago

2017 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 45 minutes. Medium body. Full, rich flavors up front. Those thin out mid and end palates as the wine is transitioning from the teen years to early adulthood. Regardless, drinking beautifully now. 4.30.26. — 19 days ago
