2023/4. I used to get this from KLWM on Christmas visits all the time but hadn’t had it in a while. Still, it was as I remember it, fresh lively and with just enough country character to be interesting — 3 years ago

Taunt and well structured white burgundy. Slight use of oak. Tight on the finish with slight mineral touch. — 11 years ago
That is probably the best QPR Burg associated Chard you can find. Nose is pretty, puckering finish, some bright citrus. — 12 years ago
Delightful, no major characteristics evident — 7 years ago
New discovery of this Bourgogne Rouge. Beautiful, elegant tart cherry & bright acidity. Whole cluster spiciness adds complexity & hits all the right notes with this album. Zuma is brilliant on many levels. It has a rustic sensibility, yet is loaded with lyrical depth and of course has Cortez the Killer. Kind of the elevated Bourgogne Rouge of Neil Records. — 8 years ago

Strawberries and cherries. A little bit of smoke. Very pleasant on the tongue and not too heavy tannins — 6 years ago
Smooth cherry, bright fruit. Drinks treat young, light-ish from northern burgundy. La soeur cadette. Another kermit Lynch winner! — 7 years ago
Lemons, green apple, yellow florals and saline on the nose. Palate of canned lemon juice, lemon peel, green apple, pineapple juice, orange blossoms, orange peel, heather honey super fine chalkiness, delicate mineral, pour over the palate acidity with a long, rich, gluey, full, beautiful finish. — 9 years ago

Starts off pretty soft & fruity but with time (esp. day 2!) the structure & minerality emerge.
Green apples, a touch of pear, a hint of exotic fruit and fresh hay.
On the palate this is a touch round and yet with nice, zippy acidity and stony, salty minerality. A touch of good depth, nice purity. A lovely wine.
Vezelay is clearly winning in the climate change. — 6 months ago
