Gripping acidity with very silky tannins. Light bodied and quite savory but still full of finesse. Needs a bit of aeration to fully open up. Solid value and nice mid-week option. Tremendous wine. Such an underdog at Cruchandeau. Glorious nose of florals, bright cherry fruit, some funk, now black cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Just terrific. Palate is opulent and incisive at the same time. Juicy with terrific acidity and engaging freshness that really extends the finish. Really well made and belies the level.
