2016- Vintage - red rim , turning brick, earth, undergrowth, cherry , spearmint , soft oak background - a great time to drink soft tannins, — 2 months ago
Fine and attractive, has a lovely approachability in its supple fruit, pliant tannin, and ripe texture. Despite the vintage character, there’s nice balance here with good freshness and aromatics. Black cherry, slightly roasted, plum, spicecake, sweet meat, sous bois, wilted flowers, balsam, rosemary and licorice. Minimal racking, probably a fine call for ‘18 — 2 years ago
