Subtle brown sugar with a tannic side, partial whole cluster fermentation — 11 years ago
Slightly deeper colour , brighter ruby centre . More crunchy summer fruits , red currant , cherry , blackberry , floral notes, more fresh and vivacious than the Tortochot . On the palate this is slightly better balanced with a rounder more red fruited character , red cherry , raspberry , mineral , just slightly smoky hint. Sweet rounded but still grippy tannin , balanced fresher acidity, mineral stony touches, saline finish . Better length . Young but showing quite well , even better in 3-5 years and will last well at least another 5-8. This was a little more nuanced , fresh and elegant in style than the Tortochot, certainly with more polish in regards the tannins . — a year ago
Nice ripe fruit. Cassis, cherries, lingonberry. Spices. A bit too early to drink this. The bouquet is not very developed — 7 years ago
Dark. Fierce and concentrated. Blackcherry, cough drops, molasses. Lifted by a significant hit of volatile acidity, but it all works. 2013 is a top-rate year in Cote de Nuits areas unaffected by hail. #moreysaintdenis #pinotnoir #burgundy — 8 years ago
