Neus van een goede bourgogne, een bitter boven op de tong. €25 bij Miguel — a year ago
Outstanding alpine nebbiolo from the Carema co-op, a gorgeous wine value for any Piedmont or nebbiolo fan. Elegant, typical of Carema, with the classic notes of cherry, currants, tar and roses. Supple structure, med body, med/med+ acids and tannin, med+ flavor intensity and finish. — a year ago

Enjoyed this quite a bit. $10 co-op. — 7 years ago
Dark ruby/indigo; leather, spice, pencil lead, ripe black plum on the nose; black pepper, sour cherry, leather, with fine dusty tannins upfront; lingering cherry on the finish, slightly tart.

Under screwcap so even at 20 years of age fresh and bright. Opened up over hours. More fruit forward style of this wine not yet showing the characteristics of an old OP with cigar box and saddle leather — 8 months ago
Dicht bij de zee. Grootste gevaar de zeewind. Daarom hangen de druiven laag. Wilde dieren. Maar verder weinig gevaren. Na ca 3-5yr op de markt. Neus: gedroogd steenfruit, perzik, honing, gestoofde groene appels, heel geparfumeerd. Opent zich langzaam in het glas. Zit veel in verborgen. Parfum van gele bloesem, maar ook rose wilde rozen. in de smaak meer citrus, limoen, citroen. Aan het eind veel mineraliteit, zout, hartig door lees ageing? M+ body, 12% alcohol, droog. Ter plekke geproefd. Proeverij met dochter ‘president’ — a year ago
Interessant blend: Primært Pinot Meunier, årgang 2016 spændet op med ældre årgange. Fyldig, god dybde. Mere frugt end toast — 5 years ago
Continuing on the Rhone train today! This is a delightful Lirac - full-bodied, ripe and rich with soft tannins. 45/40/15 GSM blend, so a high percentage of Syrah which really gives the wine it’s character. Made by the Cave de Vigneron de Tavel (the co-op). Many wines made by co-ops are extremely good these days. Just look at Produttori in Barbaresco! This is approachable now and delightful to drink. Well-done! 2017 vintage on Mar 22, 2017 — 6 years ago
Good not great. Raspberries prominent, light-medium weight. — 7 months ago

2 yr op frabs eiken varrels, daarna op foudres. 6-9 jr in totaal. In de geur, veel fruit! Prachtig parfum. Wild berries, red. Zwarte peper, nu al leer. Rijp, mooie tannine, packed with flavour but still light. Heel verteerbaar. Saltiness. Savoury, maar vooral heel levendig fruit. Volgens wijnmaker kan deze heel lang rijpen. — a year ago

Yet another outstanding vintage (2020) of this consistently excellent Co-Op produced Barbaresco. Aromas of red fruit, dried rose petals and anise. Flavors of bright red cherry and raspberry fruit, mint, Asian spices, minerals and orange zest. Long and earthy/smoky finish. Fantastic balance, structure and depth. Fine grained tannins and a silky texture yet still firm and powerful. So delicious now, but built to age for at least another decade. The quality consistency of this wine vintage to vintage is incredible. Outstanding value! Thanks so much for opening this one, Keith S! Happy 60th Birthday, Karyn! — 2 months ago
