Blend of Cab Sauv, Petit Verdot, & splash of Merlot; estate-owned vineyards Rutherford, Napa, St. Helena & Stag's Leap District. Just opened, 14 years in the bottle after couple of years in the barrel! Still tasting well, young & juicy, should easily last another decade, but nice now. Deep Ruby, dark fruits, spice, complex nose. Palate reflects juicy rich berry fruits, well structured harmonious wine. Fine soft rich tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and earthy tones. Wow! — 7 months ago

The Lowdown in T-Town. Neat = High heat but very good caramel flavors. Rich. Lingering smooth caramel; not cloying at all. Then with big rock = smooths flavors out and introduces an almost peppermint flavor(?!). Surprisingly good and interesting. Nice burn. Flavors are unique, but it’s good. Occasional sipper. — 2 months ago
Smooth with a little bite but not too much that it’s overwhelming. — 5 months ago
Very nice. A bit of spice but silky smooth. Excellent yamagata sake — 8 months ago
A surprise addition of the night. A great blend, about 75% Cab, 14% merlot with CF and PV filling in the remainder. Plum, blackberry and fig show through nicely. Touches of vanilla. — 4 years ago
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Beautiful nose of black currants, plums, licorice, light oak, spices, chocolates, earth, eucalyptus and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, licorice, tobacco, herbs, earth, dark chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 7 year old Rioja is starting to drink very nicely now. Elegant and nicely balanced. Complex and entertaining.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.
14% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Very good. Slight aftertaste, but not in a bad easy. — 7 months ago
Blend of Syrah (36%), Grenache (21%), Mourvèdre (17%), Tempranillo (14%), Zinfandel (8%) and Carignan (4%). Dark purple color. Aromas of dark berry fruit, lavender and roasted meat. Flavors of jammy boysenberries, black cherry, black raspberry, black licorice and roasted herbs. Slight hint of vanilla on the long and lingering finish. Well balanced acidity. Medium-plus body. Rich and plush but not over the top. Beautifully integrated and perfectly aged. Thanks for sharing, John S! — 8 months ago

These used to be cheap - not any more 40$ for the new vintage this was 26$. Classic and super elegant. A ton of tannins left: 14%. Fermented dark olives. Dark cherries. Way better than the 2013 chianti reserva I popped for our italian dinner club. These are the wines kids should try - but hey our brillant marketing 🤡 priced them out of trying quality nebbiolo so they switch to cocktails and beer! Well done. Will go for 5-10 more years with ease. — 6 days ago
