Perfect with iberico. We all liked this. Tätä voisi juoda vaikka jouluna kinkun kanssa. — 4 years ago
A un buen vino, le doy buena nota porque me gustó y además no me produjo alergia q me suele pasar con los tintos regulares. — 5 years ago
2016 white rioja. Really lovely. Complex flavour but not over powering. Best on it's own to get all the flavours. — 9 years ago
Blend of Tempranillo and Graciano. Medium ruby color with a dark core and orange rim. Aromas of coffee, leather, ripe red fruit, wet stones and forest floor. Flavors of black berry/currant/plum fruit, black licorice, balsamic vinegar and roasted meat and nuts. Long earthy and slightly spicy finish. Pleasant acidity and silky (but slightly chalky) tannins. Full bodied, round and elegant. Beautifully aged. Thanks for sharing, Keith S! Happy 60th Birthday, Karyn! — 2 months ago
The 2013 Bodega Classica Lopez de Haro Reserva is medium dark in the glass. The nose is aromatic with violets, cigars, ripe plums and earth. On the palate, we find big, dark fruit, oak spice and a meaty black olive note. Tannins are firm and the acidity is lively, so it's great to sip as well as have it with some steak. — 8 years ago
This white Rioja wine - Viura and “other varieties” - shows a pale golden tint in the glass. The nose is beautiful. Citrus and tropical fruit abound, with a stony minerality laced into the fruit. On the palate, the acidity is extremely refreshing and the flavors of tangerines and lemons are again presented in mineral fashion. The finish is lengthy and the tropical fruit seems to last the longest. — 9 years ago

#Viura or #Macabeo as it’s called in most parts of #Spain is a challenging grape to create excellent wine with. Only the older vines with more concentrated grapes and wines which include some barrel fermentation seem to conduct it towards elegance. This is a very lovely example of Macabeo — 5 years ago

Fucking delicious! First Spanish wine I have tried and very satisfied. Very easy drinking. Was good as soon as I opened the bottle and only got better as it opened up.
Very well rounded. A little earthy, a little round? Nothing stuck out too much, apart from just being a VERY easy drinking wine! Got it at an excellent price relative to the flavour also which justifies the rating. — 2 months ago
