Very early to drink this one but wow! Purple and savory with plum/olive notes. Some nice acidity and present tannins. Check back in ten years or so… — 2 months ago
Still a great vintage and could have many more years to go. — 3 months ago
Outstanding. Very fruit forward but excellent balance. Medium body. — 9 days ago
Spicy redfruits, good depth and balance, works really well with pizza, medium-long finish, just slightly lighter than the outstanding 2023 Old Vine. — a month ago
This is a nicely tasty red wine with steak. Smooth drinking. — 2 months ago
Special name, special occasion. Love ‘12 CA Cabs and this one especially. Surreal power for age 14. Still dense fruit, good balance but still more tilt and less finesse. Maybe better in 3-5 years but shows the heft of a well made Napa Cab. — a month ago
Very hipster tattoo styled label. 52% Petite Verdot, 25% Cab Sauv, 23% Malbec. Dark, dark maroon color. Aroma is gravel and molasses. Maybe a hint of berry. Flavors are beefy and big. Lots of dried black cherry. Some molasses. Tannins are well represented. Has that classic Matchbook herbal streak. This went well with the lamb and mushroom dish I made. A great blend. Lots of zip and zing. Delicious. — 2 months ago

Fabulous nose. Hints of dark fruit with extreme oak. Even better on the palate. Bold but smooth with great balance. Wonderful wine. — 5 days ago
