Note that this is the “North Coast” Trousseau, not “Clear Lake”. 2022 vintage. Beautiful wine - cherries, tobacco, a bit of leather, rose water. Almost like a very light Barbaresco. Lovely wine. — 10 months ago
Plum, blueberry nose. Medium to full body.
Cherry, blueberry, plum fruit flavors w/ Leather and smoke accents. Medium tannins.
Long finish. Nice overall.

This was 100% CF - no sign of age, inky, w/impressive aromas of cherry cough drop, herbaceous, white pepper, medicinal - old school vibes on nose. Bit unruly on palate, definitely felt the heat and finish had some astringency. Not a huge fan of Paso Robles fruit… Still a decent quaff and scratches itch for varietal CF. — 7 months ago
BAM goes the nose. Full of banana, minerality, slight petrol, mango, grass, and more. Palate isn’t quite as full. That plus medium minus acidity drops the score a little lower than other Wiemer rieslings. — 4 months ago
