Médium straw colour . This has some development on the nose with bruised apple , pear , blanched almonds , herbal touches and some chalky mineral character as well. On the palate , quite lean but fills out enough with chalky mineral notes , ripe apple , pear and lightly honied citrus and a lightly creamy mouthfeel , decent length finish with good balance and freshness . This is at end of peak now and won’t improve further , but is still showing well . Drink now. — 3 days ago

Pop and pour. A medium straw color. On the nose: lemon, pear, brioche, matchstick, green melon, caramel. Taste: fresh, balanced, chalky wine with nectarine, lemon peel, minerals, and a long crushed stone, citrus rind finish. YUM! Hog Island oysters were so good 2 days ago had to have em again with this wine. — a month ago

Less floral than other vintages. Golden Straw — in a good way. Enjoy Hyde’s Viognier very much. — 3 months ago
Secondary notes like black tea are becoming more pronounced, which I enjoy. It’s a different wine than when we first tried it soon after release at the winery. Both are really impressive. — 3 years ago

Pop and pour. A splendid medium ruby red color. On the nose: aeromatics jump from the glass with strawberry/cherry, forest floor, dried herbs, orange peel. Taste: fresh, chalky wine with strawberry/cherry, toast, earth, leather, pepper, cinnamon, and a nice medium plus finish. Paired with roasted chicken and bread salad. YUM! probably won't get posted until Christmas though? — a month ago

Aubert never disappoints. This is delicious. Orange peel, ginger, and lychee. Still partial to their Lauren, CIX, and Eastside wines, but this is great. — 17 hours ago
