Buttery on the nose with a nice oaky finish. Love this! — 5 years ago

Tenterden Bacchus 2018

Waitrose. Delightful English white. Melon and peach, grassy and zesty freshness to it, slight acidity to cut through things but without lingering. — 6 years ago

Blanc de Blancs Traditional Method Chardonnay

Not a very dry sparkling wine but a lovely background floral note. Really liked this. — a month ago

Hattingley Valley

Classic Reserve English Sparkling Pinot Noir Blend

50% Pinot Noir 30% Chardonnay 19% Pinot Meunière and interestingly 1 % Pinot Gris. Extremely fine mousse. On the nose and palate Citrus and Granny Smith apple - very refreshing. Chalky soils. Many tasters would pick this as French in a blind tasting. The trouble is by the time this gets to Australia the price is similar to an average NV Champagne so to the average buyer the Champagne is the safe bet but make no mistake these are first class Sparklers. — 3 years ago

Agreed, we love the English bubbles here too, but pricing is getting closer to the first tier, good Champagne offerings.

The nose displays a nice mix of peach, lime, strawberry, sourdough, and light chalk. Delicate fine mousses. High acidity but with a round edge. Shows a lot more Chard characters once the mousses are settled. Clean crisp finish.

This one was recommended over other more expensive vintage English bottling. Very happy with the choice.
