Les Hauts De Palette

Château Simone

Palette Grand Cru de Provence White Rhone Blend 2021

Pale gold hue. Pronounced aromas of apple, banana, honeysuckle, and sage. Fragrant and floral bouquet on the nose. Bracing acidity up front with a lingering finish of mushrooms and earthy. Complex and balanced. 80% Clairette, 10% Grenache Blanc, 5% Bourboulenc, 3% Ugni Blanc, 2% Muscat Blanc. — 25 days ago

Château Smith Haut Lafitte

Les Hauts de Smith Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of ripe red fruit, rose petals, dried red flowers and eucalyptus. Red and black cherry/raspberry and boysenberry fruit on the palate along with additional notes of chocolate, toffee, savory spices and mint. Well integrated oak on the long and slightly chewy finish. Rustic, well balanced and beautifully aged. Thanks for sharing this one, Ron B! — 2 months ago

Les hauts de Larrivet Haut-Brion

Pessac-Léognan White Bordeaux Blend 2021

Les Hauts de Larrivet Haut-Brion 2021
Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux, France 🇫🇷✨

Overview
The second wine of Château Larrivet Haut-Brion, this is a 78% Sauvignon Blanc / 22% Sémillon blend that captures the freshness and precision of Pessac-Léognan whites with excellent clarity and finesse.

Aromas & Flavors
Layers of waxy lemon peel, green apple, vanilla spice, orange zest, ripe melon, and honeyed citrus, lifted with mint and lemon curd. On the palate, sweet pineapple, tangerine, white peach skins, and a touch of spice build complexity and ripeness.

Mouthfeel
Medium to full-bodied with rich texture, lively acidity, and a long, clean finish. Shows both power and elegance, supported by its vibrant citrus core.

Verdict
A beautifully structured, aromatic white Bordeaux that balances fruit, spice, and freshness. Delicious today, but with the bones to age gracefully for a few more years. A classic Pessac-Léognan second label that overdelivers.
