I love Rosè from Bandol! Combination of Grenache, Mourvedre, and Cinsault lends to a bit of richness. Nice salinity. Herbs, raspberries, cantaloupe, and slate. Presents with a nice "your tongue is stuck" to the roof of your mouth finish. Really enjoyable for under $15! — 21 days ago

The wine has a golden color. On the nose there’s a touch of smokiness with aromas of apple, pineapple, butter, caramel and walnut. It’s full bodied with a buttery mouthfeel but still has a sharp, piercing acidity. There’s flavors of pineapple, vanilla, banana and ginger. My last bottle of the 2012. Dense purple red. Plum, red fruit and a little earth/funk in the nose. Raspberry, boysenberry, plum and cola in mouth, tart, mild skin astringency on finish with lemon, plum and cola in aftertaste. Bottle #2 from case and it has gained some structure and opened a bit in the last 1.5 years. Nose is great, reminds me a lot of last nights Pontet Canet on nose. Hint of tobacco, pencil leaf, red fruits currant, kirsch, and red berries. Great mouthfeel, great balance, and good structure. Looking forward to another in 2 years if I can wait! — 8 months ago

Deep roots of Beaulieu were first planted back in 1900, when founder Georges de Latour noticed similarities with his native Bordeaux and declared the Napa Valley ideal for winemaking. A blend of 76% Cab Sauv, 13% Merlot, 11% of Cab Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Aromas of sweet dark berry fruit and earthy floral scents. On the palate blackberry and currants, spicy notes on full soft ripe tannins, nice mouthfeel, lingering finish ending with earthy mineral character. — 8 years ago
